Four 蜜桔直播 Writers Honored By PTK

Four 蜜桔直播 students were honored for their writing skills
by Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for community college students.
鈥淭ennessee Mosaic,鈥� a literary anthology, will include the work Donna Mosley of Sevierville,
Brandi Patrick and Shyanne Simpkins of Morristown and Tanner Keck of Bean Station.
Patrick received first place in creative nonfiction for "Window." Keck received first
place in research for "The Price of Power." Mosley received first place in poetry
for "The Ballad of Pattie Bird" and second place in short fiction for "Envelopes."
Simpkins received third place in poetry for "Girl Under Glass."
鈥淭ennessee Mosaic鈥� is published annually by the PTK chapters in Tennessee. Dr. Marc
Aramini, instructor of English at 蜜桔直播, is the editor.
