Nursing Student Named PTK HESI Scholar
A 蜜桔直播 student is one of only 35 nursing students nationwide
to be named a Phi Theta Kappa HESI Prep Scholar.
Heather Gibson of Morristown has received a scholarship to pay for a prep study course
and fees associated with the NCLEX exam. Graduates are required to pass the NCLEX-RN
exam to be licensed as registered nurse. The scholarship is sponsored by PTK, the
international honor society for community college students.
Gibson is scheduled to complete her associate of applied science in nursing this semester.
鈥淗eather was an outstanding student in my microbiology class,鈥� Dr. Lisa Eccles, professor
of biology and PTK advisor, said. 鈥淗er selection for this award reflects positively
on her scholarship and work ethic.鈥�
