Baxley Receives Teaching Excellence Award

ACBSP Recognizes Assistant Professor of Management
Dr. Olivia Baxley, assistant professor of management at 蜜桔直播, has received
the 2025 ACBSP Teaching Excellence Award. The award is given by the Accreditation
Council for Business Schools and Programs.
This award is given to educators who demonstrate outstanding teaching ability.
As a regional recipient, Baxley is automatically nominated for the international award.
鈥淒r. Baxley鈥檚 dedication to her students and to 蜜桔直播 are exemplary,鈥�
said Dr. Amy Ross, professor and department head of the management program at the
college.
鈥淒r. Baxley has developed improvement processes for the division in addition
to serving on college-wide committees. It is truly an honor to work with her,鈥� Ross
said.
Baxley joined 蜜桔直播 in 2019. She is an alumna of the college, earning
her associate鈥檚 degree in 2015. She holds bachelor鈥檚 and a master鈥檚 degree from King
University and a doctorate from East Tennessee State University.

Award acknowledges exceptional educators in the classroom. ACBSP is the accrediting
body for business degree educational programs.
