2025 Winter Horse Series Dates Announced

ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥â€™s Department of Agriculture has announced the 2025 Winter Horse Series dates. All events are held at the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Great Smoky Mountains Expo Center in White Pine. All events are cash only.

Ranch Sorting: Feb. 11 and March 18. Practice runs begin at 6:30 p.m.
Fun Run Night: Feb. 27, 6:30 p.m.
Open 4D Barrells and Exhibition: Feb. 20, IBRA Sanctioned, gates and entry open at 4 p.m.
Limited Round Robin Team Roping: Jan. 23, Feb. 13 and 18, March 4. Preregistration required. 
Exhibition Barrels: Jan. 28, Feb. 25 and March 6. Gates open at 4 p.m.
Ranch Rodeo Invitational: Feb. 15. Starts at 7 p.m.
Heel-O-Matic Team Roping: Jan. 30, Feb. 4, 6 and 11.
Speed Show: Feb. 28 and March 1.

The Winter Horse Series is sponsored by the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Ag Club. Proceeds fund scholarships for ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ agriculture students. Over $100,000 has been raised. Students, with faculty, administer the series as part of an event management class.
