About the de Silva Research Award
Purpose
The purpose of this faculty research award is to recognize multidisciplinary research (extending to interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research) conducted by the faculty with students at ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ (WSCC). Faculty may apply for this award for research completed within the past 5 years.
Eligibility
- The nominated faculty member should:
- At least hold the rank of assistant professor
- Be employed full-time at WSCC
- Have completed at least one-year of service
- Not have received this award more than three times
Application
The application is distributed during Spring Convocation week each year. Please contact Candace Justice (candace.justiceFREEWS) for more information.
Award
The total award amount is $1,000. The recipient will receive $500 in August and $500 in December of the Award year.
