Exploring Appalachian Literature

---

The Mildred Haun Conference: A Celebration of Appalachian Literature, Scholarship, and Culture is an attempt to explore and define Appalachian literature and culture for ourselves and for the outside world. Watch our Facebook page for conference information, updates, and access to registration. Watch our Instagram account for up-to-date activities the day of our conference.

We are pleased to invite you to submit to our e-journal entitled The Mildred Haun Review: A Journal of Appalachian Art, Culture, and Scholarship.  This journal emphasizes creative and academic writing that explores, celebrates, narrates, analyzes, redefines, and deconstructs what it means to be Appalachian through metaphor, image, experience, and research.
